Imagine a room... filled with happy, highly motivated, energetic children. They're having fun and learning skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. This is what our Little Warrior Martial Arts Program can do for your child. Best of all, they do not see this as learning, they see it as play, because all of our classes are filled with fun and excitement.
Well, we've taken the best training and techniques from all aspects of martial arts, physical fitness, and scholastic programs and developed them into our Little Warrior program. We pride ourselves on making our program fun, exciting and relevant to each and every child, regardless of age or ability.
Shihan Allie Alberigo and his instructors incorporate the ethics, moral integrity and martial art techniques gained from a lifetime of experience into this unique, age-specific martial art program. No Joke - they are learning real, deal martial arts. This is not a glorified day care or a fun, cute socialization program. We actually teach your child how to learn, not just tell them what to do.
designed to hold the child's attention while motivating them to excel and learn new skills. We have incorporated three virtues into our program that are represented by the cartoon style characters of the wolf, bear and eagle. The eagle represents total focus, the wolf represents extreme listening and, the bear represents courage and strength. These are all tied into a simple rewards system that keeps kids coming back for more, while giving them the desire to work hard and succeed in class. Since its inception we have added on a Home Edition Reward System which ties the child’s activities at home to a similar reward system. This allows parents to monitor their child’s progress, while rewarding the child at their martial arts school.
At this age, there are a lack of activities that teach specific skills beneficial to a child's future. Our Little Warrior children’s program is specifically designed for ages 2 to 4. We have developed methods to capture children’s imaginations while teaching them skills that will change their lives forever. Our program is designed to help each and every child develop in a positive manner, teaching them abilities will help them in school, around the house, socially, and of course, in situations where they have to stand up for themselves.
Besides traditional training in the martial arts, we work on each child's unique abilities, and utilize positive motivation to bring out the very best in them. In many conventional sports there are always some children who do very well, and others who struggle. We have a slogan, “there are no bench warmers in our school.” Every child excels in this program, developing their confidence in the process, so that they will be able to deal with any situation life presents to them.
At L.I. Ninjutsu Centers, we do not take belt promotion lightly. We do everything in our power to teach students to be patient, determined, and goal oriented, so when they do earn their belts, they feel a great sense of accomplishment that really boosts their confidence and self esteem.
Our amazing, highly trained staff of patient instructors love to work with children. We enforce good rules of behavior in class, and we expect the same kind of behavior at home and in school. This is not your garden-variety program, filled with empty creeds and sayings that the students do not take to heart. Our ultimate goal is to help you raise children that are unstoppable in everything they attempt. We have a proven track record over the last 25 years, with students growing up to become doctors, lawyers, police officers, CEOs, and mothers and fathers themselves. Some of the children who started in our Little Warrior program twenty-five years ago are now enrolling their own children! That really says something about the impact of this program.
Martial art training has been recognized as one of the safest and best activities in the world for teaching children self-esteem, self-discipline, self-confidence and life skills. Psychologists, guidance counselors and teachers recommend martial arts for children with Autism, A.D.D., A.D.H.D and discipline issues. Imagine your child learning all this while also staying fit, developing balance and coordination, focus, patience, respect and fine motor skills.
